Great day here in Maine. The sun is out, the breeze is blowing, a few puffy clouds in the sky, and temperature is in the mid 70’s. Can’t get much better!! I spent part of the morning working in the garden, pruning, weeding and enjoying the flowers. There is thyme growing all over the place, blossoming now, and full of bees gathering the honey.
Every day has to have time for quilting, so this afternoon I am playing in the sewing room. Several projects going at once including a scrap 30’s/40’s scrap quilt, a fusible web appliqued heart quilt with some hearts I have had ready to use for quite some time, a pillow top paper pieced evergreen tree, and a bow tie quilt top in reds and greens. There is also a very bright 32 patch quilt pieced and ready for a backing to be made and it can go to the long arm quilter.
Maine Quilt show this weekend and will be going on Saturday. Another perfect day–hundreds of quilts on display and vendors to round it all out!
