I’ve been playing with embroidering these little birds. The bottom one on the orange fabric will be made into a post card and go to a quilting friend. The finished post card is for a new friend who is here in Maine temporarily and will be returning home soon. I’ll save the last card for something special. Fun to make–I’ve seen little birds all over the place lately. Such a nice and simple idea and just makes me happy to make them!
Whenever I embroider, I think of Aunt Pauly who taught me how to sew, embroider, and so many other things. She was a role model for anyone who knew her. I think she would be happy to know that so many of her nieces are still using the skills she taught.
