These blocks are for the “Parts Department Quilt” that 3 friends and I are doing together. The rules of this project are few–neutrals and brights for the color scheme, make 4 of each block, and in a few months we will exchange blocks and make a quilt. Looking forward to seeing what we each come up with.
I’ve been having fun playing with blocks for this project and trying some that I have wanted to do for some time. Some are paper pieced, some pieced at random, and some traditional.
Oops–somehow, in the picture above, four blocks for the Farmer’s Wife Quilt ended up in this post (the four different blocks in second picture from left).
So many random blocks–I think I will put them together with a neutral sashing, adding that to each block to make some uniform sizes. Can’t wait to see what the other blocks the other participants contribute.
